Xenons aren't standard, they're a weight adding option like a stereo and aircon.
Spoken like an owner who doesn't have em wink

PF01 pads and PF Direct Drive rotors seem like a cost effective alternative to APs.

i think its fair to say standard BMW discs are pretty good but if you get AP front callipers you need bigger discs and AP or PF are about the benchmark.

You just have to make sure you ben them in.

MIne are lasting fine

Do we think that most brakes that give better stopping power must not last as long?
We are pushing them harder; I mean we want better brakes usually because we have outgrown the standard set up we have?
I mean my simple understanding of physics the more heat you generate (braking harder and harder)
Must be dissipated some how

My aps have done 5000 miles seemed to be lasting very well; I feel the softer ferodo 2500 pads don’t eat the discs as much as the harder ones.

Different car I know, but we're talking brakes.
After my first day at Brands I upgraded to EBC grooved & dimpled discs with yellow stuff pads. The difference was amazing.
For road use you need to remember they're not much good when cold but, when warmed up, they are excellent. Wear rate and dust seem no worse than with standard, so far.

"laughing" I'm more the 'Quint' character (Robert Shaw)

Firstly, you would have to keep up in order to catch me, which you would require a Turret for long range 'shelling' for enabling painting purposes & new Fin installation on me Pig...

Secondly, i like to vary me diet as sometimes the odd 'Panzer' tastes quite nice as they are 'easier' to catch!!

Anyway, regarding "Your gonna need a bigger boat" i thought you were 'defecting' to the Noble '500' forum (de dum, de dum, dddddd...)

But didn’t Quint get eaten by a big plastic Fish mmmmmmmmmmm

Just sounds like you getting into a tvr??

I am not surprised you like eating panzers, come on lets face it your car is a little on the light side, have you never heard big is beautiful!

when we go to croft I will make sure I have some strong guide ropes to stop it blowing away, speaking of blowing away .Are you sure the new supercharger may not have an adverse affect, I mean when it starts to spin it may become a hovercraft, or say a rocket (it dose say that on the front) and lift of

Or is it more like Stephenson’s rocket, lol. That was built in a shed as well I think.

Must dash I think the Russians are coming got to warm up the king tiger.

Ps is this tvrs version of jaws

If Quint had survived, he knew his limitations & would have got a 'bigger' boat...
I'm certain 'sharky' was Rubber? Anyway, a plastic pig eating a Panzer would be more realistic! Oh, i forgot about Croft a bit of neceesary target practice at least there you can see most of the track for fast Turret loading.... wasn't it the Russians that used to defect? Is 'King Tiger' your Noble 500, no sorry 400.

Once we get to the Ring it will be Saturn 5 R100KET against the Luftwaffe ' Buzz Bombs' or Simply soon to be defecting Russian in a Sputnik.

Finally, i recommend you save the ropes for after the Ring visit as you'll need em for your 'Noose' after the wooden spoon ceremony on the ferry.

Bon Voyage
