I had a 1996 Miata when I lived in California a decade ago, and although the car is long gone, my bolt-on luggage rack has for some reason travelled with me to London. We're moving again, and I'm sadly acknowledging that an MX-5 is not in my immediate future. So - anyone who can pick up the rack from Putney is welcome to it, in return for a small donation to charity. If there's a club that wants to raffle or auction it, that works too!

I'll be away till Easter, but available thereafter.

Apologies if I'm breaching etiquette.

Is the luggage rack still available?

I've recently gone back to MX5 mk1 ownership, and am looking for a luggage rack. Especially as the weekend trip away with the wife tested the limits of my packing abilities.

I live in Epsom so collection should be easy.

I have a potential taker in Clapham, but you're next on the list!

. My Mk1 was my only car at the time, so the luggage rack was very useful for shopping and Ikea runs (my neighbours noticed that a lot of my furniture was tall and thin so I could bring it home in the passenger seat and footwell)

Great stuff!

MX5s are surprisingly practical... it was great for skirtings and pipes during our recent house refurb! A luggage rack would be useful for the wife though (her luggage, that is).
