Saved from the "Scene" Mk1 MX5 rescue-ish

It honestly looked a lot better before (minus the plasti-dip). Now it looks like every elderly-driven generic Miata on the road.
That'll be the look I'm going for next if I get hold of another MX5 while they're Winter cheap. It'll have a bridge ported 13B in there but should look nowhere near a quick. I might even get a chrome rack and picnic basket for it.

Stanced?....... someone's been watching too much fast and loud hahaha, I'm sure in this country of good old Blighty we call it lowered, I will stretch to the word slammed but even that makes me cringe.
Makes me wince as well. Same as Coilovers! What they mean is adjustable spring seats! They were coilovers before. Not as bad as "Slammed".
On that topic. Some of you may have been following my Driveway CSI thread and will know my mate Kev's VW Beetle. Well he needed money and put the car up for sale. One kid liked the idea and mentioned...
Car Bra, Slammed and stretched tyres.
So I rescued it.
The last thing I was going to do was let someone go "Full Scenetard" on a car I had worked on. So instead of committing Sceneocide I'm thinking a little more subtle.
Classic Beetle inspired two tone (maybe the same grey as the drift MX5 to contrast the factory silver), parts bin raid and lowered a bit.
