2010 MX5 NC RC folding roof sensor problem

Has anyone else had a problem with the sensor that tells if the rear deck is properly shut when the folding hard top is fully up or down. Everything looks OK inside and out, but the roof alarm beep keeps going off and the roof in movement light flashes on the dash.

Any ideas where the sensor is that checks that the rear deck is properly locked in place?

Hi Greg, I am experiencing exactly the same problem. Did you manage to solve it?
