I'm not limited to £3k, I’ve just been looking at Mk2.5s coz I like ‘em.

Oh and a circa £3k Mk3?  With the VERY odd exception, it will almost certainly bark and play fetch.

To me that's overpriced some what, also remember prices tend to rise a little in the summer too. But if it is truly immaculate condition with zero signs on rust and you want to keep an MX5 for a number of years it might be worth it. But if there's even a slightest sign on rust then walk away at that price!

Is it just me or is the market full of dross at the moment?

Seen a nice Mk2 and an equally nice Mk2.5 but both are 2.5-3k. I'm convinced that's stupid money.

Am I wrong?

I've just picked up on this thread. What happened with the S-limited?

The paintwork was a bit more tatty than I'd have liked for the money. It ideally needed a respray and at the moment, I can't be bothered with that level of hassle tbh.
