2020 prices are out and there is an increase of over 10% across the board. Mazda have also said that supplies of 2 litre cars will be restricted. Don’t hang around OP, this may well impact 2nd hand values.
Yep, same pretty much everywhere in EU -- just looked at the German pricing for 2020 -- only two lines left and to get the 184 PS engine you need the top spec. Roundabout €4k list price increase if one does not care about the extra kit.Thinking of getting one of the last MY19 cars now. Engine is decided -- 2.0, question is RF or soft top. Would use the car daily and regularly for longer motorway drives as well (not my choice ). That makes me lean towards the 2.0 RF. But is it actually less noisy? The "glove box" is allegedly smaller, but I've seen people using the space where the targa folds into as extra packing space when travelling.
Any input welcome to help decide .
The RF is barely if any quieter with the roof up and noisier with a lot more buffeting with it down, and it also doesn't give you anything like the same open top experience as a proper convertible. I drive my convertible from Cardiff to London and back most weeks, it does fine and I don't feel any need to use my Jaguar XJ instead so the refinement can't be that bad!

On the rare occasions that I have the roof up I find it certainly quite enough, the previous owner's back box delete make more noise than wind noise.Thinking of getting one of the last MY19 cars now. Thanks for the input gents -- I was hoping the RF would be noticeably quieter roof up but sounds (sorry ) that this is not the case. Hope I can organize a test drives soon for a last check.
Edit: personally, also like to have roof down when possible. But this needs to be a compromise -- the better half isn't a fan and I have to drive more boring highway miles than I like..
