Would a MX5 NB daily driver be a good idea?
Discussion
I keep reading about MX5's rust issues and agree that they do rust - But how many other cars of that age are still about? The reality is that all steel cars will rust and most are gone by about 15 years, so keeping a car longer means taking care of it and accept it may not be being used everyday.
My experience is based on having a Frogeye Sprite since 1970, another from 1973. An mk 2 MX from new in 1999 and a SH Mk2.5 SV-T from 2008. I have also owned three, old Alfa Romeo Sprints, so have had some knowledge!
