Arrived at a Cars and Coffee event on Sunday, and parked my green-with-a-silver-top next to a silver-with-a-green-top. The inevitable happened…

Got some new wheels yesterday to replace the horrible and heavy wolfrace alloys that I have been saying I would replace since I got the car over 2 years ago!

They are White Enkeis off a special edition Eunos of some sort, don't know which model

Looks great. I was thinking of changing my silver Enkei's of the same design to white when they're due a refurb. I think I might now.

Bought my first motor at the grand old age of 30! '97 1.8.

Pretty good nick and well looked after from the previous owners (MX5 Enthusiast included) with full service history from new. It has been lowered, OZ alloys and uprated brakes. Apart from that it's standard!

Only thing I've had to do is get a new WestCo battery as the other gave up on me 2 days after purchasing the car.

I've been driving it for 2 months now; through wind, rain and snow. Loved every minute of it!

I'll get some better pics if/when it stops raining.

I'm all giddy and nowhere else to release. This seems as good a place as any.

Some of you may remember I used to hang around here a lot, I had a rather lovely black Mk1 which I should have never sold, and then a Mk2 a couple of years ago.

I've been on the verge of buying an S2000 or Boxster etc for a while. But I just left a deposit on a Turbocharged Mk1. The little Japanese roadster is just not out my system yet hehe

A snap of my Mk1 between Davos and Stelvio - what a road! Especially after an almost complete rebuild!

And here's a group of us on a little road trip to Luxembourg - note the Le Mans :-) which I just managed to keep on the tail of!

This weekend hopefully. It's a '93, Red. Greddy Turbo but with Front mount ic, electronic boost control, aem wideband, emanage etc. Gaz shocks, Rota wheels, TR rollbar, lots of nice bits and bobs. Bit pretty tatty in parts but it's a project, the hard bits done and it seems well tuned, drove straight and solid, linear boost etc.

Gonna fetch it home, and partially strip it, see what's what. Sort out body, interior, wheels etc. Need to sort out new rad, oil cooler etc as it's all original and main bit I'm concerned about. Should be sorted quickly though, gonna be my daily driver once I'm confident it runs right and get the Toyota sold.
