Looks like you had a great deal of fun, but what the hell is that horrible saloon following you?!!!!
Toyota Altezza (aka Lexus IS200), 2.0 na 200bhp so they go pretty well - certainly had the legs on me up the straight but no chance in the corners More photos here, fair bit of non-MX5 content as well so I won't cross-post.

Top rear edge of the hood look a bit mis-shapened in that first pic Mikey, unless it's my eyes/camera playing tricks?
Might be because the hood is still wet mate? It's definately ok. I'm pleased with the car, its only done 54k miles & had 2 previous owners, the rear arches are starting to bubble with rust but i've booked it in at the bodyshop to be properly repaired next month It even came with an original hardtop, not bad for £2,300 Edited by Howard- on Sunday 24th May 11:12
That is a billy bargain, well played.
With regards to the soft top creasing, looks like it has only just been put back up. Mine creases at the back for the first half hour once fastened, normally happens if the top has been down for a while. It soon regains it shape I find due to the tension though.

Hi all,
I am pretty new to PH although been involved before, just not directly, I am hoping to get involved more and more, so you should be seeing me soon.
Thought I'd put some pictures up too, currently running IL Motorsport BBK exhaust from the CAT back and K&N induction with cold air intake...

On track at Colerne:
Yeah, I've not paid up for the CD of photos my car - if there had been photos beyond the first couple of laps of the first session of the day I might have been tempted. Not as if the photographer wasn't out there either, maybe I just mis-timed my sessions with his.
As before, bloody brilliant! Great fun, and took a day's thrashing in its stride. Can't wait to get on the track again.

Nice day today huh? Bloody brilliant timing too as its my first day off in ages that was free.
My cars been looking a bit sorry for itself recently. Its had a lot of mechanical work, but not been cleaned properly in ages. This morning it was, to be honest, a disgrace. Layer of filth all over, mud all over the underside, digusting wheels, a half inch layer of assorted dead animal on the front nosecone, and the hood was a nasty stained, grey colour.
So I gathered some supplies, and cracked on at about 11 this morning. Finished about 7. Nothing too fancy, arches cleaned and treated, so there all shiny and black now. Wheels fully cleaned, waxed, tyres dressed.
Attacked a few marks with Scratch-x and the buffer, then did the whole lot with SRP, then 2 coats of wax.
Finally found something that works on vinyl roofs - AutoGlym Vinyl and rubber care. You can see how it looks ten times better now, its the onlyu produvt I've found that restores its 'blackness'. Did all the rest of the trim with this too. Polished the lights, chrome bits, exhaust back box and tip.
In true British style, I have drunk rather a lot of warm lager, been stung by something, and my shining white body must have been like a reflective beacon in the sun in front of the house. At least i'll be a shade browner by tomorrow. Damm site more fun than regular sunbathing!
Heres some snaps, not great as their straight off the camera and the light is starting to fade.
Hard to tel, but its a million times nicer looking now!
