Oooooooo that looks fab.... definitely one of the best looking 5's out there. I've managed to do this to a rim in the snow...... downhill, off camber, lots and lots of ice = whoooopsy!

Have now switched to these from my friends car thats been laid up for a year. To say i'm babying it is an understatement!

My rallycrossing mate has managed to straighten it..... you can only see a mild scrape on the rim now. I'm quite liking the bling 16" wheels so think the old wheels will stay on the project car. As i remember it's silver!

Welcome! Your car looks great, I love the White, especially when it's very "clean" and simple like yours. Is the 944 yours? It seems us roadster drivers and the 944 owners must have a bit in common, they are another car I certainly have a lot of love for and they have an equally enthusiastic fan base!

I used to own a 944 but to be honest, I'd rather be driving a '5!

Thought it was about time i signed up & said hi instead of just browsing.

Had my 2003 Sport for about 6 months now & prior to that a 1991 BRG V-Spec. Hence the name, which is the same user name i use on a few other forums. I reside in sunny Bedfordshire for my sins.

Thx guys, idd driving 944 vs 5 is another world, 5 is a real sportscar, light and nimble (and delightfully oversteer), 944 is more of a GT than a sportscar ;a bit more practical and luxurious they complement each other perfectly ,but ....if i had to choose.....the 5 !!!

Hi guys, im new to here and just picked up my first MX5 last week for the tidy sum of £950.
Usually a dub fan, but sold my Sirocco for this... no regrets whatsoever! Planning a Euro trip in the summer with a definate visit to the ring... cannot wait

Original Recaros and 15" BBS wheels too by the looks of it... jammy git!

One of the guys on here has had the Red RS decals made up in the past which would be nice to have.

I've been thinking about replacing the stickers on my RS as the red is a bit faded (one's almost white!).

There is a place quite near me in Bristol called Vinyl Graphics, I think they might be able to do it.

On the other hand I could just buy a couple of these:

Mrs Hammerheads 1.8i Icon.

It has been the perfect little pocket rocket with its 6spd box and lsd. It's also amply demonstrated that you don't need a bazillion horsepower to put a smile on your face smile

Last few weeks with us now - new 2.0 Sport Tech on the way. Yippee!
