Seems a sensible price to me to ask. I wouldn't buy it because I'd want a JDM car as the UK cars don't have LSD. I'm assuminig its a UK car?

I'd be a bit careful if you're assuming all the Jap market cars have it - mine doesn't so far as I can tell (but it is an early 1.6 Eunos...)

It looks like you only have MOT and TAX until July which will be a big turn off. It needs 12 months MOT otherwise people think big bills in 2 months time.

AIUI all JDM 1.8s have an LSD (not the viscous type either but a torsen). I may be wrong - I have no idea how to tell if my car has one! When it was jacked and I turned a rear wheel the other one remained still but it didn't spin freely scratchchin

Thats right...

Easiest way to tell...

Go to a T junction, give it loads of throttle, drop the clutch...

If it throws you around the corner = LSD

Annoyingly spins one wheel = open diff.

It will have had one but it was a friction type one thats now worn out so acting like an open diff. Basically all JDM 1.8's have a torsen (gear) LSD.
