Murder! Mystery! Intrigue!

Well, not so much of the murder (only metaphorically), but plenty of mystery and intigue over at the freshly updated www.phoenixraceworx.co.uk website the home of the phoenix fives project car.
Just how did those ARB bolts snap? Why exactly has the scissor jack become one of the staple tools of the workshop? Has Nick really sold his soul to the devil to get such a fantastic looking facia/control panel?

All of the answers and more await, so go check it out.
Go on, you've only got to move your mouse a little and click a few times; not too physically demanding is it?!?!?

eerm, well (shuffles feet)

in all seriousness, we are playing up to the mx5's stereotype by having all the accents pink. there will be pink wheels (obviously) pink viper stripes, and an assortment of other pink highlights, it looks good on screen, but we will see how it looks in the flesh.

it should make quite an interesting juxtaposition between the effete and the racey, doncha think???

we're not sure yet because the remainder of the parts have not been fitted, overall i suspect there will only be a marginal saving due to fitting roll bars etc. but it will still be a lot lighter than it would have been with all the trim in place.

In short, i don't know but as a guess we have stripped maybe 40/50 kg out.
