After having seen a video on youtube with one, i'd like a Racing Beat exhaust. Can I buy from somewhere in the UK or do I have to import from the U.S?

Can't seem to get the site to work. I click on the exhaust section and nothing happens.

Thanks Kinky.

The problem is that with the current exchange rate being what it is, it seems to make more financial sense to import the whole system from the U.S for just over £200.00. What do you think? Anybody have any experience of this?

Give Phil at P5 a call as he's not updating the prices on the site every day to show the effect of the exchange rate, but he's a very fair guy who, to use the cliche, has forgotten more about tuning '5s than I'll ever know. Give him a call for a chat and ask what price he'll do you.

I think Rotechnics were R Beat dealers too.

I don't think R beat is anything particularly special though.

I've had loads and I must admit the nicest sounding one I've had is the Larini.

Do you have any sound clips of it? I'm searching for an exhaust that won't make me look like a chav...

I have the Racing Beat Duals and Larini Mid-pipe. Sounds superb (not just my own opinion, I get comments from other MX-5 owners all the time)

No sorry don't have the technology...

I'm selling mine as my car is SC'd and the JR has a bigger bore.

Even SC'd it didn't sound chav (SC's are much loader as they put more airflow through them)

You won't be disappointed nice low tone, no rasp not too loud.

I was thinking about taking the cat off but thought that might be a step too far. I will put a video clip up when it's all done.

If you don't like it loud the cat is worth keeping and only costs a couple of bhp.

Also the Larini doesn't have a resonator box so it may resonate without the cat, I have had this problem with other exhausts but never ran my Larini without the cat.

Sorry Mark, been at work all day. It's the single 70mm tip, I tried not to draw too much attantion to it. It arrived this afternoon and it looks like it might not fit but I will keep you updated.
