Since one of my coil-overs needs replacing and the others are a bit worse for wear I was thinking of going for a full ride kit such as the AYB or Koni ones. Any recommendations? Will I be able to keep my currant springs if I just change the shocks (I have coil overs but they came with the car and have no idea what brand they are)? Cheers

What he said.
I would have thought that if your shocks are worn your springs will likely be shagged too.

I can't speak with a whole lot of authority (still on shocks that came with the car) - but I had changed my rear springs for the MX5 parts ones (have the fronts still to fit) and the result I was pleased with, the original springs on my car were lowering ones and was worried that height might be altered.

But I guess that's irrelevant if your going for some fancy coilovers with adjustable ride height. People seem to have good things to say about the Gaz kit (someone on here must have a kit fitted) - they are about £450 if I remember correctly.
