couple of questions guys

hey up chaps,as you may know ive just bought a very nice 1.6 roadster.
does any one know of a good trimmer near derby as the drivers set bolster has just worn through?
The car has been fitted with a uk back panel with large numberplate.no accident damage whatsoever.
And last,the car feels very sprightly in relation to the speedo.
its either me not used to it yet or can anyone tell me whats the true speedo reading at 2000rpm in third?

mx5's are designed to "feel sprightly compared to the speedo". it is one of the main reasons they are so popular, you can have a lot of fun in them and still be legal!

im not sure exactly what 2k in third is, but i can tell you that 4k rpm in 5th is roughly 75mph

I wouldn't bother getting the seats repaired. Just find some replacements from a scrappy or ebay/pisonheads/MX-5OC etc...
