Which is why you get Charlie to plot the torque and power curves for both runs on the same chart and you can see immediately if the area under the graph is bigger.

Unfortunately I cant make it. And Lazza's cars had a few bit's bolted to it! It'll have to be the next one unless someone has a standard MX5 there on the day and theres time to run our experiment.

on N/A cars without knock sensors, super unleaded will only have an effect in cleaning up the engine. the additives are superior to those used in preimum unleaded.

even on the mk2, which i believe has a knock sensor - this is probably used for retarding the timing if / when it senses knock rather than advancing it up until the knocking limit.
