After pretty much 2 years of faultess ownership... i'm now looking at a new clutch (110k on this one), knew it was warn, but the last week of crawling traffic and lots of stopping and starting in said traffic on steep hills has really finished it off, and now one of the springs has just gone frown

coupled with in the last 3 months our Saab needing £1000 spending fixing the gearbox and currently out of action with a blown turbo.

Smeg!

Ouch, it always comes at the most annoying time! I recently changed one, and the only silver lining was that it was very cheap to replace. At least it was compared to the last clutch I paid for, on an Integrale......

aye, been quoted at £320inc vat to get the clutch changed, so might as well get the springs changed at the same time.

Dont fancy having to do it all on the cobbles in the street in this weather.
