Interesting, I thought mx5nutz was a company, not another community.

At the risk of moving off topic though... when i open a page on a site like the aforementioned, when I see all those avatars and pictures and gifs and links and supposedly witty remarks but which are only ever highly tedious... doesn't the page end up looking a complete mess, and doesn't pistonheads always look a model of clarity because they studiously avoid all that garbage, and isn't this one of the main reasons why PH has proved so incredibly popular?

Just a thought? smile

You are right to a certain extent - the number & size of avatar and signature pictures on Nutz can make a thread a bit cluttered and messy but that's one of the nicer things about it - there is a lack of regulation i.e. if you want a picture of your car and a witty (to you) remark in your sig nobody is going to jump on you for it and the mods will only intervene if things get out of hand. It's more of a reaction to the over-moderation on OC forum than anything.

thumbup Will check out mx5nutz next time I get bored at work hehe

I've also been on www.mx5forum.co.nz (seeing as I'm in NZ and all that), a few knowledgable folk on there too.

Fitted the underbody suspension braces last night (easy enough job- jack it up and a couple of bolts for each), took it for a quick test run and it feels to have tightened things up nicely with the car feeling more 'tied-down' on the road, especially on fast corners with a few bumps.
