Hi all,i need to get some new shocks and springs for my wifes MX5.It's only used as her daily drive, and never tracked or raced etc.I was looking at a set of KYB shocks(non adjust) and springs in MX5PARTS catalogue.Does anyone here have experience of these please?Any other suggestions(except Gaz)greatfully recieved.Cheers,Mike

P5 are doing some nice coilover at the minute, I just replaced my KYB AGX & Eibach for them and i'm pleased.

I'd agree with that. I've just replaced my KYB AGX shocks/FM Springs with the Performance 5 PureDrive setup. I'm just waiting to fit some stock ARBs to replace my FM ARBs as the P5 PD setup doesn't need such stiff ARBs.

Protech manufacture the shocks, but it's not a Protech kit. The spring rates, valving and machining of the damper shaft is all bespoke to Performance 5's design and specification.

I know exactly who you are. Phil did not spec the spring rates or suspension, these were delegated to an automotive engineer. Anyway, not my place to say anything more. If any customers are interested in the kit, I suggest they speak to Phil directly.
