Well, it helpfully says under the centre cap my locking nut is in the tool kit. It's not. Is this a std. nut?



If not I guess it's a smaller socket and a hammer... frown

Check all the usual hiding places or call the previous owner.

Certainly not std.

It looks like it isn't seated properly.

A good quality (circa £20) Gator Grip style universal socket should get that off, and could prove handy in the furure too.

Don't get tempted by the cheap ones though, or you'll just end up with a face full of pins as the socket disintegrates under the torque.
