DUAL throttle is fine. I replaced my 320cc injectors which maxed out at 6krpm with 350s which max out at 6700rpm. I need 440s really but then I'll need EMU/MS/Adaptronic...
Anyway, that means I am having to use airflow correction to pull fuel when out of boost and it's that which I'm having a few teething problems with.

time to get an ECU upgrade, keep an Eye on the MR2 forums as everyone went for the LINK G3 big time and now the G4's out plenty will upgrade so you should be able to get a G3 for £350 ish.

i was chatting with Lyndon @ Rogue the other day and the G4 can't control the VVT on mk2.5's

ps it is closer to a grand fitted once you have fitted everything you need to.

That suprises me... it can do every other version of VVTI.

LINK ECU said:
Variable Valve Timing

• Up to 4 channel independent

• Precision Closed Loop Control

• 3D Tables with configurable X and Y axis controls

• Preset or Custom Configuration

• Supported Engines - 1UZFE VVTi; Subaru AVCS; EVO 9 VVT; BMW VANOS; Toyota 3SGE, 1ZZ, IJZ, 2NZ, 2JZ; Honda K20; Nissan VQ35; Ford V8; Holden V6
I bet if several people emailed Link saying you want VVTI control on mazda engiens it'd appear in a firmware update.

I have a 1.5 mk1 turbo - [actually, I've nearly sold it, bloke coming down to pick it up next weekend]

.. I bought it as standard, and paid for the upgrades. In retrospect, I think that was dumb: whether you go for SC or turbo, I'd get one that's already done. there's normally a host of other bits you'll need [piggy back acu's, uprated suspension and stuff], I think that all the bits on mind cost me about £3k
