Yeah I agree. I've got the funds in place and they are currently burning a hole in my pocket, it just a case of being patient now!! I would be interested to know your thoughts on this one, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-MAZDA-MX-5-SILVER_W0QQi...

I like it as it seems very original (Has the supplying mazda dealers no. plates front and rear) and it looks like tits been well looked after. He said he would take £2100, is it a good buy....?

Its home. I am postively trembling with excitement at the prospect of having the day off tomorrow and my first 'top-off' experience. Even sat in a Jam on the M62 in the dark fetching it back, I absolutely loved it.

woohoo Pictures tomorrow!

No hood down action on the way home?? What's going on? wink

When I picked mine up last week I was driving home with the roof down and it was getting dark and rain started to splatter on the windscreen. But in my own mind I'd decided this is how I should driove home and sod the weather! Other motorists on the M20 were giving me some pretty weird looks I can tell you!!
And my rather creative solution to avoid getting too wet was simply to drive that bit faster.. biggrin

I'd say ya def got ya moneys worth there, I got mine on an ebay bid too, last 20secs, I was sweating it. brought mine home in the dark too, couldn't see where the controls were or nothing, but loved it to bits, all polished up & sitting in the garage now.
