Overtook a white C2 with hard top on the way back from Goodwood on Friday ,turned out to be

Dave Wright and his wife Sue.
The C2 is Sue's car IIRC.

Kinda biased ('cos my Vette's white) but I tend to think of white as a bit of a minimalist 'non colour' (much like black) and you can look and appreciate the style, lines and curves of the car much better without the distraction of a coloured body.

Great looking car, Sidewinder
Yeah, thanks for that!
When it's time to do some TLC i will post a few more pictures.

All the other cars except my MX5 are in various states of non-driveability, so it has to double as half-daily/ shopping roundabout.

Nice - had a '71 Mach 1 many years ago - one of about 500 one year only 429 SCJ's produced.......

This looks remarkably like the truck that mine is pretending to be. frown

Unfortunately mine, whilst being a 429, is not the 4 bolt mains so not an SCJ motor. It was originally fitted with a 351 which at times I wish it still had as I'm sure it would have been easier to handle. The engine is currently out of the car (again) as it's undergoing repairs to several oils leaks and a blown head gasket amongst loads of other bits and pieces.

I've now got all the parts I need for the rebuild so will hopefully have it up and running in another month or so.
