Drove my Hellcat via ferry Newcastle to Amsterdam. Amsterdam to my place in Sweden.
I realised first how big it is when washing it for the first time. I can just about reach the centre of the roof. Then when I first put it in the garage, there's about 3cm free space each side. And it's quite a generous door size. Bloody rapid tank though wink
very good choice of weapon Sir. They are a lot of fun smile

My yank tank is a hauler that i use to drag my European cars when they're not running. The 300lbs ranch hand bumper in front of the 7.3 liter cast iron diesel engine helps with over steer.

Don't normally move beyond the "classic cars" section on here and hadn't noticed there was a section for Americans...

Anyway, here's a couple of pic's of my old A100. It's a 170c.i. (2.8) slant six with a manual "three on the tree" column change, drum brakes all round, beam axles and cart springs, not the fastest thing on this thread but an interesting drive and unlike the Hellcats and Vipers can carry a whole bathroom suite! Getting better all the time, just insulated the cab and rebuilt the steering box - it actually goes in roughly the direction I expect now...

And a pic' of it when it was used by Hagerty's (I think) at Goodwood.

IROCfan - still not sure it's mine either, and thanks for the compliment! I bought it as I'd lost heart with my old hot rod and this fired me up enough to press the "Buy it" button. I love it for what it is tho', thoroughly enjoying owning it, but I doubt it will be with us for many years as it simply doesn't do enough of the things that I want... Working on it it is a doddle tho' (aside from sourcing spares) which makes a nice change. For now , it fits in well with our mixed bag of stuff including a TR7 V8 and some classic bikes - and with our mates' vehicles which are a pretty eclectic mix, '86 RS Camaro, V12 Cobra rep', chopped Morris Minor, couple of V8 Pops, some custom bikes...
My previous Yank truck, still miss it...

That was one I built for my missus a few years back, healthy 1300 with twin carb's, four branch, lowered, etc. Had loads of small chassis Triumphs, such good fun and used to be so cheap - Heralds, Vitesses, GT6s, Spitfires, Bond Equipe and a Vincent Hurricane - saloons, estates, convertibles and even a pick up truck with up to 2.5litre engines, not one for leaving stuff standard generally.

Not a big fan of the wheels but the rest is just lovely. Very similar to one I was looking at a few years back but that one was not as nice as yours smile
