Morning folks thumbup

Recently purchased a 2013 Camaro V8 (LS3 manual), and Chevrolet UK website shows the nearest partner garage in Edinburgh.
Now, I'm certainly not averse to a trip along the A702 and a couple of nights in Edinburgh for annual servicing (aim to keep the car well below 6,000 miles a year), but any recommendations for good indies in Cumbria with experience of GM/Chevy LS3s would be appreciated.
Not sure if forum rules allow for such, if not, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks in advance smile

Hi Kelvin,

I'm based in Cumbria too and have a Monaro with an LS2 engine. I use - and have used for years - AAS (Advanced Automotive Systems) in Newcastle. They have a lot of experience with the LS engines and American cars. They also have their own Camaro LS3 smile

There is a meet/open day at their premises at the end of September - you're welcome to come along to chat to like-minded enthusiasts. I'm sure we'd all love to have a look around your car. Here is the link to my post: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Cheers Mike, I do like a trip to Newcastle also (was there for uni half a lifetime ago!), so will bear them in mind.
Not the best month for me this month, but if things change, I'll drop a post on your thread re: the meet.

Cheers, Kelvin

AAS are great! Take my Monaro there too. I'm near Lockerbie and Mikey is Penrith based.

Ahh the joys of Cumbria even the locals are 40 miles away!

I'm west coast - Whitehaven...

Yup, we're a tad isolated, but a V8 exhaust note bouncing off dry stone walls on Lake District roads? 'tis rather cool...

You have a yellow Camaro IIRC? Not seen it am afraid.
Black Camaro knocks about in the mornings regular.

As Roger (MV6) said, I'm Penrith based. It does seem we're rather spread out!
