I know its not a MOPAR, but Fords have been shown in this thread, so here is my mates 4 speed '69 Camaro, this was Chevys attempt to rein in the Hemi's in super stock racing. I must say it does have THE look of awesomeness
Looks lovely, but does have a L72 under the hood as well, to go with the COPO looks?Looks like that photo was taken at Brooklands?

Looked at a "Cuda recently but it wasn't right so went with a B body Road Runner instead.
Not original numbers matching but some nice upgrades.
Air Con, Gear Vendors overdrive, big ally aftermarket radiator, new paint & interior.

Ive done a bare metal restoration on my Chally, She's almost ready for paint, big job, Full strip, glass out etc
Bodys finished just pulled the K Frame out and doing the front Suspension.
48 years old and retains 100% of her Dodge panels, Floors ,Trunk etc.
ive had to repair some corrosion, this had been cut out and new hand formed repair panels made, to completely replicate the removed metal,
ie swage lines, ribs and drain sumps etc............
The floor and trunk area was i great original shape, needing very minor repairs.
The car has a outstanding shaped body, complex compound curves and razor shape edges, Fabulous looking motor.......................
Im a restorer by trade, E Types in the main so its a bit of a busmans holiday really!

Wonder how you would tag something of this type?
Mines got partial Vins stamped on the bulkhead and rad support, cutting these out and welding them into a replacement shell , would one create a Ding Dong ????
I geuss the upside its the only true way to get a completely corrosion free classic looking motor,
W'eve had shells blasted, dipped, nothing truly removes all the oxidation from everywhere, ive seen E shells dissolve after being acid dipped LOL
Any idea what these things cost??

They haven't put a price yet from what I can see.The Mustang fastback shells are around USD$18k, so I would think the Chally ones will be around that figure.
So, whats that £15k plus shipping and import duty.
I doubt you'd see any change from £20k to get one shipped into UK.

This was the car that got me bitten by the Mopar bug. Ex Paul Rossi Challenger campaigned by Sylvia and Geoff Hauser.
I remember being completely mesmerized by it back in the day.
The fact that a latter-day Hellcat and even a lightly modified Scat Pack would seriously challenge it is testimony to how far street performance has moved with the brand.
i was a regular at pod in 78-80,the sylvia hauser car was sponsored by warwick wright chiswick, when milton keynes shopping centre opened we all went to a a display there, the SLD olding houndog funny car was there and the guy who put a spitfire engine in a rolls royce (soon took the badges off) great days even dave lee travis drove a rail, was it called the hairy cornflake?, saw sammy miller do 300mph+ in vanishing pointI remember being completely mesmerized by it back in the day.

John Dodd, and The Beast. It wasn't a Rolls Royce at all, that was the problem, it was a home built chassis, and home built fibre-glass body etc., that Dodd fixed a genuine Rolls grille to......which is what pi$$ed off RR who took him to court.
Not sure if this is still for sale and a tad expensive but here you go>
