Fabulous , looks like the scene when Carrie rises from the grave!smokin

I know a guy that has fire damaged 71 shell, could be of use, he also has a full rear quarter not sure which side,

Its looks like a major project, but given the right motivation , and a sensible budget it will rise from the grave permanently cool
Morning Pete, yes, the rear 1/4 etc is needed. Tried to mail you, but your settings need to be changed to recieve mail.

This SE is quite a highly optioned car.
It was built @ Hamtramk.
Options that i can so far see are
Air con, power disc brakes, power steering, all 4 electric windows, two mirrors, tinted glass, 3 speaker dash.

Hamtramck IS Dodge.

I did a lot of reading about it, used to be a massive MoPar fan as a teenager. Seemed like the closing of Dodge Main was a turning point in the fortunes of Detroit as a city.

I'd love to visit to see all the old relics.

It was built in Feb 1970.

Looks like it was sold new to New Jersey and that its first Licence expired in March 1971 ?

We think it crossed the pond in 1977.

Il try to do a Title search on it via the New Jersey DMV, hoping they have kept the records from 1970 onwards.

That's a shine the poor bds that painted these in Hamtramck fifty years ago would be proud of!

Aw Thank you , but to be fair modern paint is light years in front of the old school acrylic used back in the day,
ive been doing this for years but still synch my bum when i attack virgin clear coat with a DA sander!! lol

But modern HS clear is so forgiving, it flatters us painters lol

Looking forward to getting the car back on the road ,

If anyone is going to do a meet it will be the UK Mopar Muscle Club.

However, the 50th Anniversary was last year.....as production started in September 1969.

Yes, but US makers model years always going from Aug/Sept of the previous year to July/Aug the following year, celebrating any anniversary is always nearly a year behind any actual anniversary...!

What colour was your '57 Bird?
