For me the 70' is the stand out RM23 , Fab looking car, Tor Red, Air Grabber, 500's this one pretty much identical to the one i sold back in 17.

Plymouth got it so right with the 70 Roadrunner................................

Yeah Agree, perfectly captured 70's chic, all the B Body's are good looking but this one year only is the standout.
Some people just see a large 3 Box coupe, but having owned and restored several there loads going on with the body design,
The rear glass is a superb wave shape, and the rear sail panels are epic,

A RM23 or a GTX, Plymouth's rapid transport !

Save some more money, or get a cheap loan and buy one, smokin
Ive started to have a serious look! as my Challenger is now about 85% complete, and will have to live in the garage, im getting myself into the mind set of a second car, a beater as the yanks call em, that can live outside on the drive.
The plus to this is that size wont matter! hehe

My old Runner, sold to a very nice guy, who took it to the next level, Fabulous car and a credit to him, Well done Dave.
I unfortunately was made redundant in early 2012, and couldn't really afford to hang on to it rolleyes

Right lets get back to E Body's !

TA's don't get much attention over here, Great Pony car, 71' without doubt the best looking, i toyed with putting a Glass hood on mine,
But price and horror stories on absolute rubbish fit put me off!
God know what a genuine Chrysler made one would cost eek

The T/A was 1970 model year only.

71 cars were made and finished, all that official stuff is absolute b--------Ks,
people had cash , you could have it!

Dealers like Mr Norm's would pretty much do anything a buyer wanted,

The problem IIRC, was that Dodge announced that there would be a T/A in '71 and it was mentioned in the preliminary brochures etc, in the summer of '70 for the '71 model year cars out in September, but Dodge withdrew from the Trans-Am series before the end of the season, and so there was no need for the T/A and so none were ever made.

Bumpers are now ready for colour,
All the side glass and lifts are in, as are the drip rails and weather stripping, this amazingly is still original Chrysler stuff!
Theres a few places where its got some wear and tear but its minor , the boot weather sill is a replacement but pretty good quality and went in all ok.

Put the dash in yesterday, Fortunately my daughters working from home and gave me a hand! would never done it single handed!
Changed all the moody wood garnish for faux Carbon Fibre which looks actually pretty good!
The instrument pod and switch panel was tricky to do,

So its now just a tad further away from how it left Hamtrack!
Was Rally Red, now Tor Red, did have a vinyl roof now doesn't , did have black interior now White!

Trigger's back up broom laugh
