With the lockdown and the extra concentrated time you've been able to spend on the car, how much quicker do think it will be on the road compared to how long you thought it was going to take prior to the virus?

Have you gained 3 months, 6 months or longer than that?

Pleased with these!
bog stock metric nickle coach bolts, sanded really smooth the remove the font, etched , 2 K primed then refinished in colour/clear

Fit perfect and cheap as chips when compared with the stupid price of bumper bolts!!!
For Chrome bumpers, just use Stainless coach bolt, carefully sand of the font then polish on a wheel, they come up like mirrors!

And Yes the lockdown thing has easily brought the car on by probably 3 months at least!
ive only been on furlough for 11 days, but the time i could spend on the previous 4 weekends also helped!

Have you been able to get on with your Rod???

Got a few Electrical gremlins to sort out, but hopefully should be ready to refit the interior by the end of May,
Going to install some modern tech, but want it all invisible if possible, not cutting any trims etc, but that kind of stuff is sort of fun to fit,

I don't have it at home. I can't do panel & fab work, have neither the skills or the facilities/tools. So, its been elsewhere with someone who knows what they are doing in that respect.....and so, it's come to a halt since end of Jan.
Its now possibly never going to restart either, as having lost my job and very little chance of getting another one in the immediate future, it will have to stay part finished for an indefinate period now. Trying to keep a roof over my head is more important right now.

Aw sorry to hear that son, think this is going to be tough for the foreseeable, im fortunate to have just enough room in the garage and a decent size drive to get around the car, i must admit though its been a lot harder to do, and ive had to adjust the way the car's been done, but im reasonably pleased with the way its coming along,
bit of a bus mans holiday really!

My Runner went due to redundancy , and ive regretted selling ever since!
It wont happen again..............................................

Got everything working inside to car, apart from the wiper motor, which now dos'nt turn off!
its got a vari speed and parking system, guessing its going to be a headache!

Quite pleased with the nice clean uncluttered look of the car, ironically thats one thing ive actually done to return the car to build spec, as it was
Stripe delete, laugh

Amazingly, I stumbled across a shot of my Challenger on display in Feb 1978 @ the National Custom Car show @ Alexandra Palace.
Does anyone recognise it ? And who owned it ?

No, but I was there, so I may have an old 110 camera photo of it somewhere in an old album or box of stuff. It was the first Ally Pally Show I went to.
