Original Dodge Challenger

Looking sharp, apart from the Air Cleaner top!
Bit of surface corrosion around the top edge, which is a major pain as the top part is Crackle Finished, now if any of you have ever tried to reproduce the factory finish your'll know what a complete nightmare doing this is !!!
Why oh why didn't the first owner tick the box and pay another 100 bucks or so and have a Shaker !
Tight Git!
Done pretty much the whole car in my tiny garage!
Unbelievably difficult!
I would be hard enough if it was a Escort or a mini, but a midsize yank, never again!
And since ive painted it its got a lot bigger
But all the hard, crap, gut busting work is now complete, and ive just got the rear bumper/lower rear panel to finally fit.
And depending what it looks like when complete, i may Matt black the tops of the bumpers and the rear panel around the lamps, ???
The final work/interior trim, sound proofing/felting etc is actually quite fun i find, and i enjoy the work,
Found a car yet????

Still trying to sort out the garage / domestic situation at the moment, everything is in flux as her indoors wants us to move to a detached property and I'm pretty happy here and want to build a second garage on the space already available. Not helping is the choice of cars available, it's more than I'd thought and I can't make my mind up which one I really want, condition aside the choice won't be as easy as I at first thought. At first it was just Mustangs, but the field is wide open now and I've come to realise that the various Buicks, Pontiacs, Chevys, Mercurys, Dodges andPlymouths out there are just as appealing. My work situation is solid though so I know I can keep looking... Unbelievably difficult!

Yep theres loads of fun Barges out there! As with most things the depth of ones pockets is generally the final factor, but as we've said before you dont have to sell a Kidney to own a yank, and at the present time a lot of cars are starting to look very good value when compared with other so called classics ,
No one really has any idea where this virus crap will go, or how long till we get back to normal , if ever.
Dont be surprised if we start seeing more cars for sale at some point when the redundancies start to filter through,
Been there myself!
Love your car, looking forward to seeing it finished.
Found this one from last year at santa pod.
