Hi all,

I'm a massive fan of the classic american car scene, love the style, the sound and the relative ease of working on them! I will hopefully be getting my first later this year once my little one starts school.. it cant come soon enough wink

I'm writing this to ask for advice though. I'm taking my wife on a trip to New York in May and thought it would be super fun to get an airport transfer in a beautiful classic american car.. my googling has come up with no real leads though. Maybe a missing niche in the market there..private transfers to and from airports in something old comfy and sexy would be awesome, and I reckon a lot of folk would go for it.

So my question is, does anyone no of a company already doing this.. if so please let me know as I want to get it booked asap. OR and this was a thought i had, would anyone on here from New York who owns something classic be in the market to do the airport collect, and drop off at hotel, for a fee of course, using their own pride and joy? A long shot of a request i guess, but if you don't ask, you'l never know! haha

For those who stuck with this and read it, I thank you.. and if anyone has any ideas then id love to hear them.

Thanks all,

Dave

56 Caddy and 33 Packard ??

Distinct lack of Hemi Challengers and Chargers...

Last time I was in NY for a week I saw one late model Camaro and one late model Mustang in total. Lost count of the Prius taxis.
Flew on to LA and it’s a completely different ball game...muscle absolutely everywhere.

Went into Hertz to pick up some no name runabout my friend had organised and the extremely nice lady behind the desk handed over the keys to a C5 Vette convertible for no extra charge because we had waited patiently in the queue and didn’t moan at her when it was our turn. Which was nice.

Thanks for your reply, I feared that NY wouldn’t be big on the old beauts! Thanks for the info. If only we were visiting the west coast this time!!
