Fingers crossed will be there in the Vette, got Silverstone at the begging of April too.

In other news engine is back in the Mercury, but need to take it out again to fix a leaking core plug.

What date are you at Silverstone Oneball, is it the 13/14th of April and are you racing the C3.

Would love to come up ,about as far as i want to go these days,

Yes. 13th 14th and yes C3 with Bernies V8s
Sounds exciting for you, must be the first race of the season,

Will try and get up there ,mind you 5 hours of Ford KA endurance racing could get tedious as a spectator .

Weather forecast looking grim for Wheels Day tomorrow.....

Dry until about 11am, and then heavy rain and thunderstorms pretty much all through to about 2-3pm....... hope the ground at new venue drains better than Rushmnoor, as with the heavy rain of past few days plus the storms forecast for tonight, it could be grim.... (Rushmoor will be waterlogged and would almost a non-event)

I think I might get there early, and have a quick blast around to see what its like with a view to leaving when the rain comes around 11am, and then head back over to Billy's for the open day/party which kicks off at midday, as weather looks OK for Camberley area tomorrow, with only a short passing thunderstorm due around 2 to 2.30pm.

I've got a bunch of stuff to do to the Vette first and I need to get the Mercury running so I can get the Vette out the garage, so slight panic.

Yep first race of the year, hopefully the Kas are the finale!

Been pricing up the likely parts I’d need to restore the TA,
Dynacon or whatever they are called do a factory correct hood and full floor etc, quarters maybe AMD?
Trunk lid the same ,
It looks to be around 5K US dollars which ain’t to shabby
However logistically it’s a nightmare
I reckon it could be as high as 8 to 10K sterling!
Ffs, Dynacon wouldn’t give me estimate till I went through the order process!
Scary stuffhehe

Be worth asking Russ Pepper at RnR for a shipping quote, so it gets a shared shipping in one of his regular parts containers instead of direct individual shipping which would be eye watering. He brings in a lot of stuff for people among his regular parts shipments.
You just get Dynacorn to ship to Russ's east coast shipping agent instead.

Yeah it would definitely be a requirement!
I just thought I’m going to see them in the morning so being armed with some idea would be prudent!
Strangely I’m a bit apprehensive of meeting my hero after all this time , especially as they are seriously projects ,
and Flashes Copo Clone is top of my Christmas list at this time !

Thank You, It was hard work not just for me but the auction seem to be struggling in general,

If it wasn't for them taking no sellers commission plus giving me a share of there buyers commission i couldn't have sold it for what the highest bid was

Suppose the auction would rather have a bit of something than all of nothing,

Makes you wonder how many times they have to do that to make a sale happen.

It's a shame the buyer didn't see my ad as he paid more than i would have accepted from my ad and we both would have gained.,

Hey Ho !! on to the next one thumbup

Not looking good at all but at least they say it will be a improvement on today.

We've had every weather you can think of including i remember a light shower of snow.

One thing i am certain of i won't be wearing my shorts and sandals.

Hey RR how about this ?

Looks a lovely little car,
My Lotus has these fabulous square’ish headlamps too
Maybe they all did ?
Mine was a G plate car,
This does look very complete
Currently at 26k which is probably half what the seller wants !! Lol
