Well done NaT, great news! Another wobbly yank gets saved hehe.

As mentioned above, a build thread would be very welcome, once you've got it home and the real delving has begun wink

Haha
Cheers guys for all the positive comments
Yes looking forward to getting stuck in,
No decision on which way I’ll go about it till I’ve properly assessed the car,
I must admit at this point and at least for a year or so , the Rat Look is very appealing!
Sort the motor and suspension/brakes etc,
Fully restored wheels and new tyres
And smoke it for awhile, this would buy me some time to acquire the necessary parts etc to do a full on restoration, especially as I’ll still be working and be able to afford it!!
Things like the decals are silly expensive etc
Once I’ve retired have the time to take it to the next level

An NCRS report is a Must have, it will give you the cars date of build, first supplying dealer and probably lots more.

Any way enough of that smut! Lol
One for Nij,
Must be catching ,neither me or Nij bringing up Italian stuff,

Yes he will love that,

Harrys Garage just done a vid on one ,

My first Ferrari at £4,500 ,only bought it at the time as the 246 Dino went out of my price range at £6,500 smash
Oof, yes please chaps! Absolutely love them for so many reasons - I've not driven one but every article I've ever read about them (old and new) says they handle beautifully, not everyone 'gets' them but as far as I'm concerned they are another example of Gandini's genius and look better with every year that passes (even more so on 14'' Cromodoras). I don't care if people think they're not real Ferraris, I don't care if they're prone to the dreaded rot and it doesn't matter that it wasn't designed and built by Pininfarina, if it was good enough for Enzo to use his beloved son's name on it, it's good enough for me. Mind you, the original brochure for the earlier 246GT said it was 'almost a Ferrari'... but then not every Ferrari has to have twelve cylinders. I'd have one in a heartbeat, no question.

Sermon over! hehe
At £24,250 with 2 days to go scratchchin

Heh - that wasn't me! SS427 Camaro is another owner of a BB Camaro, but I think his car is a bit more serious than mine...

Can't wait to see your TA in progress. smile

47 years I’ve wanted one of these , I’m actually gob smacked !
And very soon as in next week she’ll be safely tucked away in my garage, and yet again “so it begins “
So first thing is to source a cheapish Rotisserie frame,
I’m far too old to go lying on my back for 3 months!!
It’s guna be tight but should just have enough head room to spin the body tub,
I figure if I can buy one for say a monkey should be able to flog it for at least half that,
Anyone got one they’re not currently using?? lol
That's brilliant news, well done! Looking forward to seeing how it comes on, your work on the Dodge was amazing. I'm not far from you, sometimes walk the dogs down your way so I'd love to have a nosey at it sometime!

Oh yes the B’s staying!
Just a great little car, and as it’s completely turn key and drive it’s perfect to the summer, I’ve no doubt it will get plenty of use !
Providing we’ve actually got a road open to drive anywhere!!
Absolutely a nightmare here again, roads closed all over and a huge amount of work in the main arterial road that run past my home !
All part of the joys of living in the ahole of the UK in 2024!

Haha, I’ve probably driven past you, I usually park on Admiralty Walk just over the little railway bridge!
