Well done NaT, great news! Another wobbly yank gets saved .
As mentioned above, a build thread would be very welcome, once you've got it home and the real delving has begun

Cheers guys for all the positive comments
Yes looking forward to getting stuck in,
No decision on which way I’ll go about it till I’ve properly assessed the car,
I must admit at this point and at least for a year or so , the Rat Look is very appealing!
Sort the motor and suspension/brakes etc,
Fully restored wheels and new tyres
And smoke it for awhile, this would buy me some time to acquire the necessary parts etc to do a full on restoration, especially as I’ll still be working and be able to afford it!!
Things like the decals are silly expensive etc
Once I’ve retired have the time to take it to the next level

47 years I’ve wanted one of these , I’m actually gob smacked !
And very soon as in next week she’ll be safely tucked away in my garage, and yet again “so it begins “
So first thing is to source a cheapish Rotisserie frame,
I’m far too old to go lying on my back for 3 months!!
It’s guna be tight but should just have enough head room to spin the body tub,
I figure if I can buy one for say a monkey should be able to flog it for at least half that,
Anyone got one they’re not currently using?? lol
That's brilliant news, well done! Looking forward to seeing how it comes on, your work on the Dodge was amazing. I'm not far from you, sometimes walk the dogs down your way so I'd love to have a nosey at it sometime! And very soon as in next week she’ll be safely tucked away in my garage, and yet again “so it begins “

Late to the party, but congratulations NaT, your focus paid off.
I hope you can still enjoy your little B with the love it deserves until the big mothership is ready to rumble
Oh yes the B’s staying!I hope you can still enjoy your little B with the love it deserves until the big mothership is ready to rumble
Just a great little car, and as it’s completely turn key and drive it’s perfect to the summer, I’ve no doubt it will get plenty of use !
Providing we’ve actually got a road open to drive anywhere!!
Absolutely a nightmare here again, roads closed all over and a huge amount of work in the main arterial road that run past my home !
All part of the joys of living in the ahole of the UK in 2024!
