Good luck with the racing over the weekend, thumbup

I have not had a chance to watch any of the members meeting.
My old Mustang is 8th in qualifying with Alex Buncombe driving and the Griffith is 2nd in qualifying.
Fingers crossed that they have a good race

Let us known how you got on,
Todays race was good. First time I’ve actually felt at one with the Vette, so looking better for this season, it’s taken a while to get used to the grip levels compared with the Dunlop X plies I’ve race on for 20 years. Finished 10th. 3rd in class.

You'd need to tub it for the rears to fit. biggrin

I like the Year One Bandit wheels, a 17" replica of the 15" snowflakes, a set of those in grey would be mint. This will really set Aero off. laugh

Yes, because the snowflake wheels are wrong for a bullnose, as they are what the stty Bandit era T/A's had.

If you are going to ruin the car with bigger wheels, at least put on the right shape bigger wheel for a bull-nose, with a set of 17" honeycomb's.

Once you make the decision to sell it is not so bad. Alex Buncombe was running third in the Mustang until his team mate took over. I guess the new owner of the car, he was a good 10 seconds a lap slower than Alex. The Griffith however won the race. Really pleased for the team

Looks like i missed out on a exciting weekend,

Did look at some of last years racing on YT, Although i knew of Bernie's V8 '8 i didn't know what i've been missing all this time.

Also didn't realise there were Aston's ,TVR's as well as yanks,

I did watch Tiff racing a Mustang some years ago in one of Bernie's races,

i can't remember if it was on Top Gear or 5th gear now but there is a video somewhere on YT .

Graig David was driving his 302 Boss at the Goodwood MM this weekend in the same livery as the one in the photo,

Saw him at the MM practice in it along with his ex Alan Mann Notch Back a couple of weeks ago ,

Congratulations on your placing ,and it's only the start of the season.

The C3 looks every part of a race car especially with those wide than wide Torque Thrusts thumbup

Meh, they're either oem or wrong, no in between. I like the snowflakes, and the bandit era TAs for that matter, even if they're all mouth and no trousers. I nearly bought one before my Firebird, in brown. laugh

Caught up with some MM video's tonight including the Mustang race , Appropriately named " Chaos " not surprising with 30 Mustangs

let loose on Goodwoods race track . Yes Alex Buncombe was doing well until the driver change.

Was buying Alex's 289 FIA Hawk Cobra from him, he wasn't happy with the dealer who he gave it to sell it for him

having it for months with no interest ,On the day he was due to collect it from them to sell to me the dealer took a deposit , smash

Then took a month to pay Alex , A bit of a disaster for both of us really . rolleyes

Just had a reply from GM in the US,
What great service!
Unfortunately they do have an archive service but it only goes back to 77’ !
Bummer, so it’s got to be PHS,
I’ll give the guy a call at some point this week,
