Loved my LeMans, drove very well, the grey car looks nice in the pics, not small though, think its the same floor pan/frame as a Chevelle
Yep, the Chevelle, LeMans, Olds 442 and Buick GS were all pretty much the same thing under the skin.

Almost forgot, 1971 Pontiac Le Mans looks good value compared to all

around it at the moment, nice colour to. Car & Classic ref C1330257,
That’s odd I can’t seem to find it on c&c, not in the Pontiac listing anyway.
OOP's Just noticed Hellcat linked you,
Looks very nice, over my budget but at 192” long it will fit in my garage (just) wink

Late C3 'Vette, I wish sellers would make more of an effort with their listings....

And clearly another trader, with a fresh into UK import (or maybe not even reached the UK yet!) as the only photo they have is the one from the original ad/owner in the USA, as you can clearly see in the background, that is not Norwich, UK where said item is supposed to be.

The other annoying thing about ebay sellers is the trade guys who won't answer questions - there's been a couple of US classics I have been interested in recently and asked questions/requested a couple of extra photos of, and not had any reply.
One of them has dropped in price by £900 - if they had spent 10-15 min answering me the seller probably would have pocketed most of that.

There are also currently a fair number of yank classic fake / scam ads on ebay, it's the same chancer who regularly crops up.

Meanwhile the lovely white Riviera we we're gassing about earlier has been reduced to £15.5k ono....

Clearly owner doesn't know about US model year, as there was no 62 Riviera.......so, its an early one made in late '62, but no one with any US car knowledge would list it or call it a '62 Riviera..!!
And what on earth is that sticking out of the transmission tunnel.......that's not the original tranny selector. Given the '63 Riv's still used the ancient Dynoflow transmission, I wonder if this one has been converted to a later TH350 or TH400? Ad doesn't make any mention of a transmission swap, which you think it would, so again, me thinks seller isn't very knowlegable on what he owns?

Possibly a shift kit?

Also, from a glance, missing centre caps, extra screws in the (new?) door card, carbon fibre vinyl and the fuseboard poking out.

Nevermind the poor spelling of original, and not actually talking much about the spec.

Not on a Dynoflow.
That's why the '64 & '65 Riv's are a much better ownership option (for UK) than a '63, as they 64-65's have the much better and then new design TH autobox, whereas the antiquated Dynoflow was still the same tranny from the early 50's, and not easy or cheap to get repaired here in UK.

If its a Lokar, or any aftermarket shifter its not got its original Dynaflow transmission in it, as Lokar or any of the others don't make a shift kit for the ancient Dynoflow.

Looks tired and damp, started at £13500 months ago, £25K + if really nice,

must be a reason why it has not sold.

The '62' Riv - new door cards, but they are screwed on?

I liked this one:
https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1243028 - a 64 Skylark Coupe.

American trade sellers never return your enquiries ,private ones aren't much better,

Think they don't want the hassle of export,

There are a couple of Riv's currently listed for sale in the USA at the moment for around $30-35k (so £21-25k) that the photos of them make that white one in the UK look like a banger racing entrant.
That UK car is probably a 5-6k car....and an utter money pit.

This one being a 400, its vitally a GTO,

For me the stand out car at the moment is the Blue Demon, currently 13500, looks like the reserve has been meet, great car for the uk, ticks every box
but its abit understated when compared to something like the above Pontiac .......................................

Looked good value compared to everything else, More individual than just another Mustang and

now the make Pontiac is deleted from GM line up more collectable. scratchchin

Had my eye on the Skylark earlier, it's exactly half an inch shorter than the internal length of my garage!

Am awaiting a quote from a garage door specialist to look at replacing my two single doors with a full width one, at least it'll make entry and exit a bit less awkward for whatever I end up buying.

Meanwhile, another small dose of yanky goodness.... wink
