To be fair ive seen worse! Cheap entry level Mustang, and bare in mind most of those 45K cars for sale looked like this a year ago!
As with all of these one needs to go a have a look, i was going to have a look at the Dart near me, but thought better of it, did'nt want to waste the sellers time as i just cant be assed to take on another project that will take an age to do, suck up some serious cash and ironically still be worth half of what the Ford would be worth done !

Just a quick question - are you still running red rear turn signals? Thinking of rewiring mine to use the reverse lights with orange bulbs. Went for a run out last night as the weather looks iffy for the weekend. Gratuitous phone pics (sorry for clogging the thread!) Must get my camera out and take some proper ones.
Yeah , mines completely US spec, Amber front, and flashing brake ! they look great in the twilight, i guess i could get a tug from lily law, but hey ho!
Funny you should mention the whole lamp thing, ive been looking in to quad Halo's and LED's front and back. our electrickery guy at work is going to sort me out a controller, ive access to tons of LED's White to Amber are very cool !
And with the Halo's i could use the out board as direction flashers,

Yeah its also a problem that the brake light becomes an indicator !
so you also need to modify the wiring, this means butchering your rear loom, mine was a mess , back up lamp changed to flashers etc,
i completely remade the rear loom back to stock,
i figure the amount it get used, i'l just run like it for now,
As i said looking into LED's , if a can get a wizard made, then i may go over to them, and will be able to switch from UK spec to US !
Really depends on my man!
Using Halo's i could use the outside as white running and then switch to amber when indicating, at the rear , the plan is to use the outside lights,
to be brake and the go amber when indicating and braking at the same time, its deffo doable, and LED's are very much brighter that normal 12V bulbs,
so may help not getting whacked up the arse !
But like most things , ive got a list still of upgrades whether they get done is another story lol..........................

Lovely pics Leigh, perked me up no end after having my wallet stolen in London yesterday
Sorry to here that, hope you didn't have to much cash in it, but it's all the inconvenience it causes having to stop credit cards and having to wait for new ones and you can't replace personal photo's if taken,
This fking country is a disgrace , yobs attacking pensioners, stabbing even if someone dies
may get mentioned in the news , girls getting raped or beaten up ,sheds, garages, cars getting set alight for no reason,
try getting anything done especially if to do with the government,
all using this virus as a excuse as everybody's supposed to be working from home ,this is going to make civil servants even lazier
than before, who's going to want to get up early to queue in traffic anymore ,pay for parking and petrol when you blag your way through at
home. Phoned one department and got a receptionist ,i could hear water splashing about in the background asked her was she washing up
and she said no i've in the bath.
Sorry for the rant but fed up with hearing bad news caused by the scum we have to share our planet with .
Didn't have such a great morning myself after having a frustrating visit from my local council official regarding my building then followed by
the news that the garage i keep the Gallardo and 430 in along with my mates Aston in has been broken in to last night .
They haven't taken anything as i think they were scared off by the alarm, How far they went into the building during the 30 second
delay before the alarm went off i don't know, The building is not the place you would expect to find that type of cars in having the appearance
of a old farm building, they probably were after chainsaws and stuff they can carry but still unsettling knowing that some scum now know
what's in the building and the fact i don't live there to keep a eye on things doesn't help, can see me driving over there tonight and
the next night and the next night . ,
Having a spate of fires around here lately , barns, caravans sheds so the biggest worry if the jealous type or just for the hell of it they may
come back and set fire to the building
Can't even move the 430 out as the Gallardo's in the way otherwise would have moved them both to safety today .
Talking about Gallardo, have now booked it in to the specialist as electrician also came today
and said the pumps are working but no pulse from the rev counter implies that best way could be crank shaft sensor or worst way ecu's
also said because of the blown fuses don't be surprised if we find a nest somewhere in there.
Trouble is they can't get it in till Monday week and really need them both out of there s.a.p to get any sleep.
Lets see what surprises awaits tomorrow

Back on track-------Trans Am on Car & Classic, 78 , 500bhp manual mucie box with Hurst shifter ,
Lovely engine spec with excess of £30K spent, asking £19,500
Seemed expensive at first but looking at the prices of other standard wheezing
so called muscle cars i'm not so sure, As good as it gets for £20K and a third of the price of a decent Bull Nose T/A
The more i look and read about it looks like it would put a smile on your face,
and not got those leaking removable roof panels either,
Not keen on the red snowflakes but can soon be changed.

That doesn't seem a bad price at all really, I was looking at '78 Trans Ams a while ago, there was sod all out there at sensible money - it seems they're even higher in the US.Lovely engine spec with excess of £30K spent, asking £19,500

I don't think the white colour will help it, they need to be black for the the full on Burt Reynolds experience. White looks good on a '73 bullnose though.
I see that '63 Riviera is still for sale, it popped up again on my ebay yesterday.

It says 'rust free' . If it's rust free, then what is this brown stuff I see poking through the wheel arch?

Jesus. I'd always be worried about having cars in a storage facility (not that I could afford so many cars that I'd need one ), I assume you saw what happened at this storage place last November, lots of the cars were owned by someone on PH.the news that the garage i keep the Gallardo and 430 in along with my mates Aston in has been broken in to last night .

Sorry to hear about the 'nicked' wallet whilst in London - I was 'mugged' for my watch a couple of years ago in Ladbroke Grove. I say mugged - more of a very clever 'distraction' theft really. Kinda did me a favour in one respect - watch was 30 yeaes old and worn every day doing everything, car work, gardening, DIY. Insurance covered OK. Same day there were two other similar robberies in nthe same area.........one victim was stabbed for his watch. have to consider myself very lucky I guess.
It has to be a major worry about keeping cars irrespective of value or condition away from your own house. One hears so much of similar stories of s, kids and other 'vermin' doing this kind of thing. Even worse is the risk of them trashing whatever is in there just for the hell of it. It would also worry me about having a vehicle in a 'secure' storage facility (thinking about that thread with the torched Ferrari's and other exotica). As has been said the toe rags now know what is in there which unfortunately is a big worry.
