Found a number of leaks from the speedo drive seal to the pinion seal in the diff, there were plenty to keep us busy. Most came from Rockauto and fairly swiftly.

Motor mounts and trans mounts were all perished and damaged so they have been repalced too.

Metres of random wiring for the neons, air horns and various superfluous bits has been removed and the master cylinder will be upgraded to Wilwood too.

With running gear removed, the floor could be seen better. As mentioned, there have been a number of repair patches put in over the years some a lot better than others. Some have been redone others just needed redressing to tidy them up as they were sound. Lots of hit damage underneath too so these panels have been straightened up. DMD have done a fantastic job underneath.

Underneath was stripped of all the crude and wax and, once repairs been made, all sealed and raptor coated to protect for at least another 50 years hopefully

Looks much better with the TT's fitted.

However, I'm not sold on the centre's being changed to that bronze colour of the EFI though.

Looks look great in the colour it already is IMHO, just needs the rear stripes removed.

Torque Thrusts back in the day were pukka magnesium, so soon turned dark grey with oxidation, so doing them 'up' or changing colour just proves they are not pukka period ARE's........

I'm just too much of a traditionalist I suppose and I prefer a period look, not a modernised look.

Remember that Super Bee being advertised on and off on Car&Classic about 3 years ago ,last ad maybe 2 years ago,

Wonder if it's still with the same owner ,if so still maybe for sale ,some sellers if not needing the money or space just give up

and leave it in the garage. Wish i could remember how much it was advertised for, £29K comes to mind but i am probably wrong ,

Would have thought that might be to little today the way the prices have gone.

Would love to buy it now if anyone knows of it's whereabouts.

The garage in the video looks familiar ,seem to remember a dark blue 70 R/T Charger being filmed there in a ad

a while ago .

Hi Kev.

I think we talked about this before but 15" wheels don't fit over the Wilwood brakes.

17" is the way to go.

I know you've seen these pics but to show everyone else, here's the 17's on my 69 Roadrunner which is identical to the Coronet underneath.
