macallister shredder blade replacement

trying to replace blade on macallister ms2500 blade stuck on like concrete so no give using hex key apart from wd40 any ideas as blade needs replacing

try breaking the fixing free by tightening a little first
then into drill head off and replacing

As VTC says, an impact driver, tightening first, or if you haven't got an impact driver, a hex bit of the right size held in a ring spanner, then whilst tightening it as much as you dare, hit the end of the bit with a hammer.

thanks will try this as no impact driver left it soaking in wd40 since yesterday

motor went whiney then bang typically no longer available so got equivalent macallister 2400 which.... has a single blade rather than 2 small blades so will see how this goes got £10 discount as bandq member and has lasted over a year
