Its 10 mins from me so would probably be going anyway....but I've just had a chat with Kevin (number on the link) who says he'd be happy to see a couple of BMW Alpinas in the arena (my mate has a classic B9) so I'll be there early for a good spot....
He gave the impression that anything unusual would be welcome, so who else is available Friday ?

Thanks guys. Hopefully se you Friday Shel. I've got Thursday off to take a trip to North Hants tyres so the Charger may have some new shoes on

North Hants Tyres are 5 minutes walk from my house and yet I've never been in to have a look! Happy shopping (oh, and happy birthday!! )

Blimey Shellz_Mach1, we're almost neighbours! I live on the Old Farm Place estate off Lakeside Road, just the other side of the A331. There's another Pistonheader living on the newish estate by the railway bridge too. You've probably heard Mose in his black Monaro with a rather loud exhaust

I'll be in one of GM's finest on Friday.....Mrs TT's Zafira boxedin

What's the easiest/simplest way to get to Rushmoor from the A331? I'll be coming down from M25/M3 direction but there seems to be a jumble of roundabouts whichever route I take, according to multimap.com

Indeed TT, I have noted Racing Green in the background of your profile pic! I've chased down a black Monaro from time to time on the A331. Cannot compete with it in either my Mustang or daily driver, but nice to just wind down the window and listen to it.

If you see me/my car on Friday come over and say hi. I look like this:

I'm the one on the right. Pic borrowed from Nick (bbb).

The arena is just off where the A323 meets the A325.

Either leave the A331 at the first exit (signed Farnborough/Hawley I think) and follow the A325 (just go over straigt over every roundabout!) until you have passed the playing fields on both left and right sides of the road. At the next roundabout, Travel Inn and Brewer's Fayre pub on the left, then take the 3rd exit to the Arena (brown-signed Rushmoor Arena).

The faster route would be to follow the A331 for 5 miles from the M3 and take the Aldershot (south) turn off onto the A323. This will follow up through Aldershot (just go straight over every roundabout). Pass Burger King (on your right), pass Tescos until you see Travel Inn/Brewers on your right. Straight over the roundabout (brown-signed Rushmoor Arena).

The entrance to the Arena is a sharp right only a hundred yards or so after you leave the roundabout. Likely there'll be a queue though so you won't miss it!

Good luck and have a fun drive.

Hi Shelley, I'll certainly keep an eye out for you. I don't think your car will be hard to spot

Thanks for the info, I'll print it and take it with me, save a couple of hours whirling round roundabouts yes

Hope everyone made it in 'twas a bit busy!

Police closed approach roads about 1'ish.

Managed to control my autojumbling this year, just some cut price Autoglym and a set of Draper Expert A/F Ratchet spanners..... nice.

Waa it ever busy!! We got there about 9 am, drive straight in, but within an hour it was just a continous stream of cars rolling in through the gate, and apparently chaos outside.

I logged 330 miles in the Morris, got well sunburned, didn't meet a soul I knew, bought nothing but ships and a drink, but had a great time.
