GT500 - will be a better collector vehicle in the future.

If you throw the CTSV into the mix, wait for them to come out with the 7L LS7 engine and 6-speed. 505hp in a 4-door saloon? Yes please.....

I think he's bought the Charger but the GT500 won't be a better collector car because they're making about 9000 a year and there are 9000 Americans buying them to collect so the stock GT may be better! LOL.

The CTS-V only had the 5.7 Z06 engine. The new CTS performance models will rely on supercharging the Northstar engine and the LS7 is too expensive. In fact they're working on a blown 6.2.

That may be true, but there are a lot of crap drivers over here in the States. 9000 GT500's will dwindle down pretty quick. LOL!

RE the CTSV- There's been quite a few rumors about the LS7 going into the car, hopefully it will become more than just that.......

US motor press says CTS-v will get a 600hp blown LS7, which it will need to compete with M3 and RS4. Apparently the normally aspirated Z06 engine doesn't make enough low end torque (WTF?)for the relatively heavier Caddy. It looks like the CTS-v will only be something like 400lbs heavier than the current Z06, so this does seem somewhat unnecessary.
