That's a model designation for the Dodge Charger.

I hired a Charger when I was in the US at Christmas. Really liked it even though it was the lowly V6.

Would love an R/T or better, an SRT! That said, I think the toll on my fuel costs with the Mustang would be rather too heavy!!

... Also we know for sure that Chrysler are really watching where all of these cars go and do not want ANY being exported so the dealers are a little more cuatious about selling for export....
Not meaning to sound rude, but how are you getting away with it ?
Hugely complex paper trails- and even then one of our delers got fined $166k for selling us 25 srt 10 quad cab last year!!
But hypothetically speaking whistle, what if a present UK national living and working in the US with a social security number who would surely be allowed to buy a Challenger for his own personal use, but then happened to return to the US later this year when his short term work placement was over, bring the Challenger back and then sell it on (tax rules on length of ownership obviously apply here), that would be entirely feasible, break no dealer rules and be legal. Wouldn't it?

you have to own/drive it in the US for 6 months, then keep it for 12 months in the UK before you sell on to avoid taxes

Personally- I think the direct import route is fraught with risk and very often more expensive than using an importer. I was in florida recently and saw challengers fetching $5000 over list. Then you have the new IVA test to deal with!
