Being a fan of Yank metal it occurred to me that my dream yank, a Hemi Cuda, I have never even seen one in the UK.
ARE there any shows this year where I could actually see one in the flesh over here ?
It would be great to see one in Vitamin C Orange or Plum Crazy purple.

A friend of mine owns a General Lee Dodge Charger but a real Cuda - now that's rare in the UK.

Also could anyone point point me in the right direction as I will soon be in a position to consider purchasing a 'normal Cuda' so any ideas where I could start looking ?

Thanks in advance people.

I think there is a Hemi'Cuda in the UK or maybe more than one. I'm pretty sure that well known UK based US muscle car collector has a Plum Crazy coloured one, or is it a Hemi Challenger..? Can't remember his name, Carlos something or other rings a bell, seen a few of his stuff down in the Cartier show at Goodwood FoS. I seem to remember RPM of Aldershot looks after them all.

Quite a few Yank and classic car shows throughout the year - check around the AVO, AACI and AAC club sites for dates.

Check the Mopar forums, that's where they tend to surface as they usually want it to go to a good home.

Mopar club is this way...

You need to be at the Mopar Nationals at Santa Pod at the end of July, should be some Hemi cars there. Currently under construction in the club is a 71 Cuda with a supercharged 572 Hemi making over 1000bhp which will be debuting at the show with a bit of luck biggrin

There is currently a very nice '69 Hemi Charger for sale in the UK.

How much do Hemi Charger/Challengers/Cudas go for back in the UK?

I've decided I'm probably going to make a Hemi Replica out of my Challenger R/T.
I'll probably go mostly original, with things such as the Rallye Dash, Pistol grip shifter, and tall profile Rallye wheels, but I want to add certain advances, such as a Richmond 6 speed or a Tremec 5 speed, may be XV suspension- so it can handle at least moderately well, disc brakes all round and perhaps go for a 472 (7.8 litres) or 528 cu in (8.8 litres) capacity rather than the seminal classic 426.

I know it doesnt help the original poster but the Mopar nationals are being held in Michigan in the first week of august and it's "The Year Of The Challenger"
