Are old copies of 'Classic American' magazine of any value?

I guess your best bet to gauge interest is to look and see what they go for on Ebay. I took a quick look and they seem to go for about the same kind of price as the mag costs now, if being sold individually.

I've binned most of mine, just kept issues 1-12 incase they're worth anything in the dark & distant future.

I'd say not, mainly because Classic American features particular cars and is more like a picture book of featured cars rather than being a useful reference. Even the history part is very brief and of no great substance. Usually sold by people who don't want them to people who think they want them but don't. wink

Take them to your local barbers, Dentist or Hospital waiting room. It will give us all something decent to read instead of bloody Homes and Gardens thumbup

I took a few of mine to the local maternity hospital when I was visiting there. Beats Hello and OK!

That mag is impossibly dull when it would be so easy to make it awesome.

I have let my subscription lapse, it just seems to stroke the egos of a handfull of makes.
I subscribe to Hemming Muscle Machines instead
