I'm so conflicted.
I've wanted a Navitimer for years. I tried one on about 5 years ago, loved it, went for a coffee and decided I couldn't justify £5k on a watch.
I found myself in the Breitling 'boutique' in the Trafford Centre a couple of weeks ago and ended up trying on a Navitimer. The young chap was great and gave me the brochure to take away. After a little read I discovered this thing of beauty:
I love the dark face and the practicality of the rubber strap, as I use a laptop quite a lot and find a metal strap scratches and clangs all day which is why I wear an Apple Watch at the moment.
Any experts care to comment? I think this model has an in-house movement whereas some of the 'cheaper' models don't?

Really nice watch and not too flashy, I found with mine the strap ring-lets have started to delaminate which is piss poor for an 8 month old watch, not covered under warranty either so I’m looking at changing the strap for a genuine leather clasp type or the steel mesh one.ubbs said:

Maybe check them out if you're wanting to keep the same vibe.
Also, since they're not Breitling (or Omega in my case), their straps usually appear to be veritable bargains.

I had the Pro 1 titanium bracelet on mine when I bought it and have had two rubber straps and the leather strap all original Breitling and wasn’t happy with them. The leather didn’t wear well at all. I bit the bullet last year and bought a titanium pro ll bracelet and this is the strap I always wanted but it was £700!! But I do love it.
