My Presage SSA363J1 (Sakura Fubuki). The pic doesn't do the face justice

I have 3 other recent Presage purchases, but don't wear those.

I’m a little disappointed with my SKJ007
A year or so old & a good price from Creation (incl taxes..)

However it gains about 40 secs a day
Is this normal?
If not, tough luck I guess as no Uk warranty

No real hassle to adjust & looks good. But not a great timepiece ! smile
Maybe worth having it degaussed before tinkering... that's typical of having become magnetised. Easy and cheap at a decent repairer/dealer
Thanks, i’d never heard of that before. Had an interesting read! Will make enquiries.

How much, if you don't mind the vulgar tone of my enquiry?

Hopefully Alex has enough in the bank left for a decent macro lens, his new collection is really coming together.

One of my first purchases after discovering this forum some years ago now. My holiday* Seiko doing it's thing. Not very sunny today though. It's had a few dips in there and will be having another later cool

* It does get worn other times too!

Um, somewhere halfway to six figures. I'm a little embarrassed about how much it was, but I truly believe it's worth it.

You got me paperbag

I do, and I will most likely invest in one soon-ish. I would really like some decent photos of the Seiko watches at least.

Many thanks for the kind words everyone. It's not going to be in my possession immediately for one reason or another, but the second I saw it I knew I was going to buy it. I just had to, the more you look at it the more beautiful it gets.

They had a Grand Sonnerie and Minute Repeater there too, I have a couple of (poor) photos if anyone would like to see them. They were nice, but they were a bit much. Just like the Credor Fugaku, they were watches that you would look at in a glass case more than wear, and that has no appeal to me. I fully intend on wearing the Eichi II regularly.

I honestly would be terrified to wear that daily; the risk of damage/loss/theft would be on my mind all the time. It's a gorgeous watch (if somewhat unreal pricing)!

I'm considering a new 'decent' watch this month but even looking at something up to £5k I think I'd be worrying too much about wear-and-tear etc. It's why I've stuck with fairly low-key stuff including a load of G-Shocks... hehe

IMO, as far as theft goes this will probably fly under the radar most thieves.

Yes, but loss or damage?
