I think this is a new model, not sure.... but I like. smile

Not mine.

Sorry to go against the flow, but I just don't like the power reservoir dial. I think it spoils it.

I agree. I think the concept and execution is very impressive but that reserve indicator spoils it. If someone were to gift me one however...

I don't mind the fact that the reserve dial is not balanced with the date window.....

This model doesn't seem to be available in the UK.

I couldn't decide between the Samurai and Turtle versions of the Dawn Grey, so I ended up buying both.

Yes. He actually had 2 of each, as he has 2 shops. They had been sitting in the back of the shop for a few weeks, as he couldn't find the paperwork to figure out how much to sell them for.

I'm really not a fan of the dawn grey - i think it needs more orange to lift the dial.

I much prefer my STO sammy

Picked this up last week from the Seiko Boutique, very pleased. Cheers for the heads up Luke if you're reading!

Terrible at photography, I took it on the train on the way home smile

How can that be? A limited edition of 2018 Turtle and Samurai (or is that4,036 - 2018 of each)? Unless they only made, say, half to start with. There seem to be loads turning up on Ebay where people are trying to make a quick buck or two.

ETA:- A quick search on Seiko UK and France (where I got mine) shows no stock.

I'm not sure, I just saw their post on Instagram, I wonder if they held some back? I can't imagine them making a second run or going over the stated 2018 (which i believe if 2018 of each version)

Does anyone have the Grand Seiko Chronograph? It looks strange with sub dial layout, massive pump pushers and it is quite thick however I really like it. I have not seen one in the flesh. If it is like every other Grand Seiko I have seen in he flesh I am sure it is stunning!

I bought one as a birthday present for my best mate, he loves it. Black dial and silver markers. The large pushers really grow on you I think, I wasn't a fan at all at first but I quite like them now.

SeikoUK confirmed on their Instagram that these DGs are part of the original run of 2018. Seems odd that they've seemingly held some back until now, although funny considering that people are already trying to flip theirs for 50% over RRP laugh
