Let's see your Seikos!

Wish is a mobile shopping site that connects buyers directly to individual merchants selling merchandise made in Chinese factories. ... Unlike most online shopping experiences, where you buy from a retailer, an item from Wish comes directly from the factory
I'd take the view that everything there is a copy or fake personally.

Does that mean my four quid Nomos isn't real.I'd take the view that everything there is a copy or fake personally.
A mate of mine has had this little beauty since new, has just unearthed it and wants to get it serciced.
Apparently Seiko have told him they won't service it because they no longer have the parts.
Can anybody recommend an independent who might be familiar with something of this vintage?
Serial Number is 6138 - 0012
Thanks!

Nice "UFO". I'm wearing one now.
It will be 6138 on the back, not 8138. 6138 is the name of the movement.

Great watches and seem pretty hard to get hold of now.I've got mine on a brown leather strap at the moment but I like the look of yours on that colour strap.

I hadnt realised they had become hard to get hold of.
I thought I’d upload a small post on this thread now I’ve had the watch about a week and had time to learn about it a little more.
It’s a seiko presage SRPC97J1 and is limited to 7,000 pieces, though they also made 5,000 ladies versions separately. There is a clear caseback, on the edge of which the watch is inscribed with “limited edition” and which model number it is out of the 7,000.
The dial is inspired by a cocktail bar in Tokyo, specifically by the cocktails created by Hisashi Kishi at “Star bar” in Tokyo. The dial is called “Fuyugeshiki” which means winter day, and is meant to represent this day in Japan.
The watch has a deployant clasp on a multi-link bracelet and a slim profile. I literally haven’t taken it off since I was gifted it and have found it suitable for almost any occasion.
Apologies for my rambling, but I hope some of you find my little monologue of interest.

Anybody have someone they've used that they would recommend to service an old Seiko that Seiko themselves don't want to touch?
