That is pretty slim, the glass adds a lot though, I wonder if my solar would beat it in the thinness

My beloved SNZH53 is cutting into my wrist badly, but only in one spot. I've changed the strap, adjusted it but with no luck.

It's pretty much making the watch unwearable which is gutting as I love it.

I might have to sell it on.
I'm always surprised at how hefty this Seiko feels. Mine feels great when on. I have a bit of a Federer arm/wrist so maybe that's something to do with it.

Hope you find a solution that lets you keep it....
Thanks. The strange thing is it didn't do this initially and I haven't changed weight.
Can you stick it on a bund strap?
I put it on a strapcode jubilee to help but no luck.

I'm not a fan of the bund unfortunately.

The Goldfeather is ~7mm depending on who you believe. Plus it was handmade from tiny cogs 60 years ago! biggrin

Yes it's clearly a feat of engineering

Been wearing this for the last few days, after it sat in a drawer with a flat battery for the last 10+ years

I bought it new - can’t remember when, but it must be 20+ years ago

It supposedly limited to just 9000 pieces too...

I suspect this will be the future of the SKX007/9 they will be released as ltd editions.
Just 9000? :-)

Hi. It's the fourth generation "Monster", model ref SRPD27.

However, yesterday I exchanged it for the SRPD25 which has a blue dial and bracelet (I've ordered a Zuludiver rubber strap extra). I'll try and upload a pic of it.

An early 60s Goldfeather has just landed from Japan. A 2.95mm thick movement means its pretty slender! They even went to the trouble of bending the long hands to match the dome of the crystal.

Not heard of a Seiko Feather before but it makes me want to wear my Sportsmatic which is also pretty thin.

Is this your grail timepiece, and if so how much wrist time will it see?

Absolutely love the textured dial on this and some others in the presage range. Never been the biggest fan of power reserve indicators though. If it was a GMT hand rather than power reserve I believe I'd be struggling to not buy one.
