They dropped the details of annual new stock on the same day as the White Birch.

Of course there is always a few more random models that appear as they seem unable to control their limited editionitis much like Omega.
Awesome.

As gorgeous as that is, and I really really like it, I'm not sure I'd walk past Alex's Peacock to get to it.

I’d say the Peacock is probably the best watch GS have produced (in their modern iteration).

I saw one for sale about two years ago at £5k and couldn’t justify it at the time. I regret it every time I see one online.

I am a big supporter of GS but I do get a little concerned they have lost the plot with their pricing and market positioning in the last year or so. I love the White Birch but for over £8k you are talking serious competition area for watches that will appreciate far more (if you can get them obviously!)

You would have to really love GS to drop that much on what is still quite an unknown quantity outside the inner sanctum of us online watch nerds.

My slightly battered srpa11.

Seiko only want £45 to replace the crystal soni need to get round to sending it off to them.

I have a fondness for yellow dial divers. My BFK has been my daily beater for many years. The bezel looks like I've been hammering with it but it's been kept serviced and certified and it's the only watch I still dive. I love it and can't see ever parting with it.

If I was spending, say, £8k, I'd take a GS over a Rolex, for example - without hesitation.

I'm not just saying that either, I genuinely would.

So would I. And I've owned and sold two Rolexes.

1973 Seiko stopwatch arrived today. Its got a lovely clicky action.

A 30 second dial because its got the important task of timing my espresso shots to 1/5 second and I aim for a 30 second pour.

That...confuses my brain. Not sure how I feel about it!

I had had thoughts of getting a custom Pepsi bezel for my MM300...but I don't think I am ready to go as far aesthetically from stock as you have!

If I may ask, what did you pay? There are a lot of modded ones out there and this IMHO is one of the nicest.

Just bought and replaced strap with a watchobsession strap. Nice quality and sets off the watch nicely.

Had to hunt around and find the watch as it’s now discontinued

Take two, I had to send the first one back as the power reserve just wasn't there and it would stop a few hours after a full wind, Francis & Gaye have been very good and a replacement arrived today.

This is it on the blue leather strap that also comes with it, the dial is just fabulous.
