Ha ha, great reply! I carry this every day so got the lightweight version too. Not as nice to hold as the heavier one, but doesn't pull my trousers down.

Had to biggrin

I can’t bring myself to carry the P3, we cut bags of cement etc and it’s too nice to actually use ha. I’ve got a Persistence for the rough stuff which is also a lovely thing and if it gets bashed up / lost on the railway I won’t be too devastated!

The new 5 GMTs have been officially announced. I’ll probably get one but doubt it will be this year. The Orange looks good.

Caller not a flyer.

This lovely Pressage has been worn a lot too, mostly at the office.
Mine arrived today, I love it. The only thing I can’t get my head around is, it feels upside down!

The tail that comes through the buckle is normally visible from the top of the watch but it’s on the bottom with this watch.

I thought it was just mine but I see yours is the same.

All presage come like that.

To be fair seiko straps are usually dreadful and task number 1 if I buy one is replacing the strap.

Interesting, do you know the reason why?

Edit: found the answer! Apparently to do with:
- Ergonomics
- Showing the ‘smoother’ side at cocktail parties
- Matching the folding motion of a bracelet

It also means that with arms resting on a desk, the metal parts of the clasp aren’t pointing downwards and getting scratched up.

Mrs C bought me a Cocktail time Black Russian. she was saying I needed a more dressy watch.

I'll try and post a pic later. Its really rather nice. The Brown dial looks a lot better than expected.

I have pre ordered one of these.

Managed to secure a 10 percent discount, so it’s an automatic GMT from a respectedish brand. Decent reviews online, some of the watch specialists are a little excited about it. I'm not sure about the cyclops, but will judge when it arrives in July.

Damn I had one of those on my Amazon watch list (no pun intended) for a long time before eventually getting a silver & gold round dial solar versions instead.

It's not showing on Amazon anymore and my watches have gone up in price considerably.

I liked them because they were extremely thin and worked well with double cuffs and a suit jacket, unlike my more normal divers style.

Edit, upon checking my list it easn't exactly the same, my model number was SUP880P1, close though, good luck.

I actually cannot remember what model it is, but aftermarket dial and plo. prof. style hands. I’ve rediscovered it after swapping the bracelet for a black nato and finally onto this black/grey/orange.

Just read these are friction bezels. I’ll buy the movement and mod I think.

Friction bezel doesn’t worry me. Cyclops does. It’s arriving on Friday. Let’s see if I like it.

I bought it because I fancy a simple GMT and got bored of waiting for a moon swatch. Also my daily quartz tissot battery has died and I need a daily whilst tissot take 2 months to install a battery and pressure test.
